Symptoms of a flipped port?

My surgery was 5 days ago and my pain is slowly decreasing but I've noticed I don't feel that painful pull on my port "stitch" as I was feeling previously. Due to having sugar free jello and popsicles, that active ingredient that causes diarrhea kicked in and I've been getting up and down from a toilet 2-3 times a day and now I'm noticing I don't feel that pain and I'm worried the port has become detached already :(

Give yourself time. Also, if you are REALLY concerned, call your surgeon. ;)

My nature is to think worst case scenario, my husband says I'm probably fine and I'm mistaking symptoms for actual healing. Lol. I guess everyone heals differently...I'll have my post op visit Monday the 12th so I'll keep calm until then lol

Sounds like a good thing to me. :)

I'm glad you think so! I am so terrified of that sucker flipping on me and the pain being gone so quickly seems so out of the ordinary but I'm just letting my paranoia get the best of me lol
