Sleeved December 8th

I made the decision to have my sleeve when my diabetes was severely effecting my kidneys. I of course wanted to lose weight but that was the determining factor for me.

I am very lucky to be a nurse who works on a surgical floor. One of which is a wonderful bariatric surgeon. I went through the process pretty quickly. My starting weight was 243 and day of surgery I was at 230. This is my 3rd week post op and I am down to 206.

I feel great in all but I am still having trouble eating the recommended protein and maintaining my water intake. I feel full very fast. I can drink a protein shake which helps.

I am looking forward to seeing more weight come off!

I don't have much to say that will be helpful. Just "hang in there" and be patient. I hope the health problems are already better than when you first posted this.
