Surgery on 12/18/14 and I'm too excited for words!

Hi! My name is Adrienne, I'm 45, I'm a head-over-heels-in-love newlywed. I have two daughters 20 and 17, and three step children 19(boy) 14(girl) and 10(boy). I've wanted to have wls for about 12 years but never thought I would have the insurance to cover it, but my new husbands company has excellent insurance and here I am!

I began the process back in September, and needed 89 days of medically supervised diet which puts me at December 18. I started my pre-op diet last Thursday (12/4) and so far so good. It's 2 Protein shakes and a small quantity of protein, vegetable, fruit, and milk, along with 64 oz Water every day. I signed all my papers yesterday and got weighed, I've lost 9 pounds since the last time I was there (11/25). Yay me!!

I was introduced to Dr.Theodore Perry at Treasure Coast Bariatrics through a friend that used him in 2011. She has had amazing success and is now the before and after model on the advertisements they send out in the mail! She is one of about 6 people I know that have had wls. I have complete confidence in the doctor and in the procedure, and they have an extensive support system in place for follow up. I am more than ready to start this next phase of my life, ready to be healthy, ready to have energy, ready to tuck my shirt in, ready to borrow my daughters' clothes, and to paint my own toenails!! My goal is to lose 110 pounds.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. It is a story in progress, as are all of ours. Good luck on your journey!! :D
