Ugh. This company rep that was just in here smells like she was on the losing end of the battle with a cheap bottle of perfume. Stinks in here.

J - cool bike for Zoe!

The older I get, the more of a dumbass I realize I am. Strangely enough, though, the older I get the smarter my dad gets. Not sure what the hell is up with that...

if only she were a baby...she's 50 ish and also looks like she's been playing in mommy's make-up bag.

I guess I walked around with blinders thinking that weighing 300+ pounds wasn't HORRIBLE...I'm sure she thinks she's beautiful and smells fantastic.

Ack.

Hey does anybody know what time or day it is?

I find it amusing that I am getting angry over the fact that I haven't been able to exercise in something like 4 days. I Thought those days were a very distant memory never to be achieved again, and here I am pissed, smoked up, furious at the schedule that is taking exercise away from me. I kinda feel like a friggin kid.

Oh and I can't wait to get to the campsite. Are we there yet?

My camp site is 363. You're close by. Look for the dude in the hammock.

The site to the ride start is 27.65 miles or 37 minutes according to mapquest. HP was right on with her thinking.

I have a 3.5 hour drive from Columbus to the camp. I'm stepping out of work at 3...I should be there about 7. (I've got to get the kid from school, so south then north...)

JC can you clear my spot of sticks and stones, since you'll be there early and in daylight? Pretty please with sweet & low on top? I'll be setting up at dusk and want to do it as quickly as possible.

I'm so stoked, I'm giddy like a kid.

The paper is done. What would you like to know about Starbuck's financials, history and my opinion about its future?

Now off to the gym. I don't have time for a bike ride, though tonight is the last Tuesday night ride of the season. I have to mow the lawn and study for the final.

I don't heart school right now.

Oh and BG, I didn't have bologna at work today but I made squishy lunchmeat salad and it was delicious. All I could think is that it would have been a million times better made with bologna.

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
