Post-Op feeling of bloating and a lot of gas

Hi everyone, I'm 1 week today (Yay!) post-op. I've been feeling great, but over the last couple of days I've had an almost constant feeling of bloating/gassiness. It's like there is a gas bubble at the top of my new pouch that can't get out. Any suggestions on what this is, am I doing something to cause this, can I make it go away?

I also had a hiatal hernia repair. It seems to me that this has increased with my increased use of milk and powdered milk to boost Protein. Makes me wonder if this is what lactose intolerance feels like.

Any insight is appreciated!

I had a similar problem but found it was caused by using regular milk in my protein shakes. They had me switch to lactose free milk and it went away.

Not sure if you are at that stage yet.
