I've always read to try to CHANGE IT UP...... be it with the eating, alternating high and low calorie days, a change in a workout routine........ In other words, don't have a ROUTINE......change it up. Set smaller, more manageable goals..... Like, drop the next five pounds or the next pant size. Journal feelings on where you were, where you are now, where you want to be. Best wishes!!!!!!

Protein PCROTEIN and more PROTEIN and DRINK THE Water , I forgot but someone once posted , I think it was something like 64 grams of Protein & 84 oz. of Water A day , it could be the other way around but you might want to try that just a suggestion it is hard but doable.

Don't wait for motivation for strike. Just act----and the motivation will follow. This was one of the biggest lessons I've learned with my band and where I am in my weight loss journey. If I wait to be motivated, I'm just spinning my wheels. If I just act as if I'm already motivated...right now, today,....the motivation will jump on board.

Hi there and congratulations on your success to date. I am with you on wanting to get the final pounds off. We are faced with winter approaching and I'm pretty sure I need to have a really aggressive plan in place for getting exercise. If you're not currently working out, that might out you at goal before you know it.

It is REALLY Hard it seems that the last few lbs don't want to fall off unless I put my body in starvation mode and I am choosing not to just eating healthy , but I also have my issues & thyroid that fluctuates so that means my weight does also , still clothes get smaller so I will wait & when it comes off I know it will.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
