Where are the November Sleevers?

Recommended Posts

Sleeved 11/3 and I'm down 50.6 pounds! I'm doing great with no issues. I love my sleeve! The restriction is perfect. I get enough to feel satisfied but it keeps my portions reasonable. Best thing I ever did. On the other hand, my pants are huge and I need some new ones soon!

Good to hear from you! I finally went through my (smaller clothes) been stored forever. Happy to have shirts and pants that seem new since these coworkers have never seen them. I will be more excited I think when the bigger ones I usually wear are so big that I actually cannot wear them anymore! I want them falling off so I can throw them away and say never again. Never thought I'd feel thin at 235 lbs but I sure do. Can't wait to see what 150 feels like!

Congrats on your weight loss.

Have you thought about going to a second hand store to buy a few clothes to have while you are losing. I think I am going to head to Goodwill on Saturday to see what I can find.

I thought of it but I pulled out over 20 pants and 15 shirts I can wear now. I think once I'm belie a size 16 I will shop cuz that's the smallest size I win but it's also what I have the most of. Tons is skirts, jeans etc.

I do need smaller shoes though mine are falling off.

Happy for us!

Hi everybody . I had my surgery nov 20 and I'm down about 36 pounds. I haven't weight myself lately , I don't really want to step on the scale a lot and make it a habit. I've been feeling great and it's not easy but it's worth it :) I'm glad everybody is doing well.

What is everyone hitting for calories per day and Protein grams and typical daily diet? Now that I am back I need to figure this out again. Oh and Oz of Water intake per day. Thx

I just upped my Protein and started losing again. Now I am staying below 40 G of carbs and trying to hit 80 G protein daily. I am not the best with getting all my Water in. Most days I hit 30-40 ounces of water. 800 calories for me too.

I"m actually focussed on my physical activity: pedometer with me at all times, Zumba twice a week, swim twice a week and walk home from work.

Hey All!

I hope everyone is doing well!!

I feel like I'm failing.... only on the Water and sometimes Vitamin part. I really am struggling to drink. I'm never hungry or thirsty. ..

What are you guys doing to keep your fluids up?

Any tips will be helpful!

Thank you,

Sheena :-)

Sheena,

I'm never thirsty too, so getting in fluids has been very difficult. And, while I'm not physically hungry I do find myself wanting to eat. I've heard it called "head hunger." In these ways I also feel like I'm "failing." I guess I think I should have lost more weight by now (down 42 pounds). I'm trying to not be so hard on myself and just focus on being better every day. The one area where I am doing well is with exercise. Let's just try to keep up the good work!

I find it hard to get my water in too! I am doing ok eating but I make sure to take all of my Vitamins because I don't want to lose my hair and they help with skin issues.

I found that zero vitamin water squeezed lemonade is the best and it seems to be easy for me to drink - I typically get 3 20oz bottles down daily.

I've lost 62 pounds total - 50 since surgery on 11/19/2014

Hi all. Glad to see November sleevers are doing well. I am down 70 lbs...21 from pre-op diet, 49 lbs since 11/20 surgery. I am very pleased. Calories are between 800-900...carbs under 50...protein 75-85g daily.

Wow! I am feeling like I'm not doing as good as I should be! You all have lost so much including your pre-op diet! Including the pre-op loss, I'm down 36 pounds. I'm very happy with the loss, but WOW a lot of you are doing much better! I am still having some difficulty eating real foods at dinner. I mostly eat cottage cheese, yogurt, and cheese sticks for lunch and Snacks, while at dinner I try to eat chicken, beef, pork and veggies. I know that I need to up my Water drinking, as this is hard for me to get the 64 ounces in. I also feel like I have to go back to including the shakes to make sure I'm hitting all my Protein. I work in an office and have had many 12 hour days lately, so exercise is not being done regularly (averaging 1-2 times a week for 20 minutes). I really am pleased that I am making progress, but it just seems like a lot of you have been doing better. I hope the November sleevers continue to provide updates and suggestions!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
