OMG! Scared doctor will reprimand me?

thank you so much for your words. it helps to know that others are in the same situation, although I don't wish slow weight loss on anyone. I guess i was under the impression when i got this band that it works much better than it does, but I am not giving up. I am hoping that with this next fill it will do the trick, and I also am going to get back to drinking the Protein Shakes, cutting out bread and Pasta, and eating whatever i feel like eating. Old habits are hard to break, you are right, and i must lose this weight before my health starts to fail as well. So it's back to drinking lots of Water and trying to keep on track. i know i probably gained but I am starting over as of now. Thanks so much for your reply, you have helped me tremendously. And best of luck to you also. I will let you know how i make out after the next fill.

I read through this... why do we feel like failures when we lose slowly???? You lost 33 pounds... that's awesome. You probably gained muscle mass... which is heavier. See how it is the next week. You are not a failure... you are working with what you have. Last week I lost 1 1/2 pounds, and at first I was disappointed.... but, then I realized... I LOST. I used to gain about 2 pounds a month every month. I didn't. I lost... that's a huge thing. So what if once in a while you "mess up".... it's about the long journey. We can't all get there at the same time, and we all will have our difficulties... but, we are all WINERS for doing something about it.

You have paid this man ALOT of money and he works for you! His job is to help you succeed so don't avoid him. I think everyone has had a slump at one time or another or we would not need the surgery and he would be out of a job. Go talk to him and tell him you need some help and I'm sure he will point you in the right direction.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
