Newly had surgery and allot of questions

I'm just going through some pain in my cuts. Also I'm having problems eating and drinking the shakes. I can get the food down but the shakes are so hard to take cause I really hate milk. Any one got any ideas of how I can make sure I can get in protein without killing myself trying to drink all this milk.

Yeah before surgery you can. But the week before and after no. The week before they had me on ensure them after they will give you meal plans in which I'm having a hard time consuming what all they want me to consume in a day but haven't felt sick and ain't pushing it to much either hand my follow up tomorrow so well know that I am doing ok then but feel great. Been up walking allot seems to help and to sit up instead of lying down all the time

I am glad to hear your feeling well. Did you have gastric? When was your surgery?
