I had the tuna salad scraped out of a 6-inch Subway l

Last week. It was pretty gross. Very bitter tasting.

No Jamba juice yet. Not my thing though.

Now, Wendy's chili is more my speed.

Also really like Ruby Tuesday's Smoky Mountain Chicken; Hickory Bourbon Salmon; chicken Bella -- stuff like that off their Fit and Trim menu, although I can have only about 1/3 of each entree at a single meal. I also LOVE their spaghetti squash, although a bite or two is all I can handle right now.

Only 2 months out so no way I could eat a subway any time soon. I hardly eat any bread, I do not even try really , just nibbles of toast here and there. I make my own smoothies at home and can make them thicker or runnier as needed. If I am having them as food then they are thicker if I am having them as a drink I add more Water. You can aso control the calories and sugar. Check the nutritional information you will be surprised at the calories on some smoothies/ juices, not worth is for me.

Where I live there isn't a jamba juice, but we have Whole Foods which has a smoothie/juice bar. I had a juice at about 2 weeks and it was the first thing I could actually drink the entire cup of. I felt like a million bucks after drinking all of that nutrition without puking!

I think I had Subway about 2 months after surgery and even now at 13 months post-op, I can only have maybe 1/3 of a 6inch or 1/4 of a salad.

I have to admit subway is definitely an option for me because it's close to my job, but I don't get the sandwich, I get a salad. Since you can make any sandwich into a salad it works out perfectly! I haven't had a sandwich since I was a month pre-op. Have to admit it's tempting sometimes, but I've managed. I did have a jamba juice maybe 4 months ago, a high Protein something. I couldn't finish it. It started to make me sick.

I make my own at home most times. They have a frozen berry blend at costco, I add some OJ, and Water with some Protein. Tastes great!!!

How long before you ate subway or Jamba juice..

No Subway yet (I'm two months out). Not a Jamba juice person before this but my doctor said to kiss drinks like that goodbye because of their high carb/sugar content. Not supposed to have juice either of any form for the rest of my life due to the same thing.

But everyone's doctor is different, so you may not have the same restrictions.

I prefer Firehouse Subs & I've been once about a month ago. I never eat bread (carbs) so I had them just give me the meat. Pretty expensive for what you get. We have Jamba juice here but I've never been there. I do my own smoothies at home. I can control what goes in them this way. I still drink 1 Protein Drink per day & will for the rest of my life. I vary my Protein Drinks between Premier Protein, Unjury & nectar.< /p>

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
