Band to sleeve revision NEXT WEEK. Nervous.

So I had the lap band done in February of 2010. For the past 3 years I have been miserable. Couldn't sleep laying down, horrible reflux, vomiting every day. I finally made the decision to get the band removed and revised to the sleeve. I'm nervous though. I don't want to go back to the feeling I had with the band.

My surgery is October 9th. Any words of encouragement, advice, something for me to get me to stop freaking out??!!?? ☺️

Don't be nervous, be excited. I had the band in 2005 and removed/revision September 18. I can already feel the difference, best dession I ever made because so far, I don't miss the sleepless nights, the vomiting, and the terrible acid reflux. Good look to you and congratulations on your new beginning????

Don't mind at all, I've been on liquids for 2 weeks and about to start soft foods, I've lost 14 lbs so far.

Awesome!!!! I'm doing Liquids today since I have my final weigh in tomorrow at the surgeons office. If we gain weight they cancel the surgery. ????. Congrats on the loss and I am glad to hear that it is totally different from the band. Yay!
