well, I just had to share with you all that while everything was going alright and I was doing so well. lost 13 lbs and started exercising again since my knee surgery. but I am now having some problems with esophagus pain and not being able to tolerate solids again. I had 4 episodes since the beginning of august of severe nausea and vomiting. so I am going back in for a upper gi with barium swallow and to get unfilled. I cried and cried yesterday because I tried really hard and was compliant. I hope the upper gi doesn't show anything and a bit of a unfill is all I need. boy am I ever praying. and although this doesn't have anything to do with what I am going through I just want to remind people to please call your doctor when complications are happening. than come and talk with us. there have been several postings where ppl haven't notified their doctor of problems. stop complications before they become serious. things can happen even when you are doing everything correctly.

You sure hit the nail on the head there! I love the bariatricpal community but friends we have to remember that we are your cheerleaders. We are here for any questions others may have about our experiences but when you are uncomfortable as a result of nausea, have concerns about slippages, and other things that we see become serious all too quickly, please make sure to contact your physician as quickly as you can. Most often the staff at your respective offices expect that there are going to be lots of questions don't forget they are a resource too.

terrydumont46 I sure hope you get to feeling better soon. It stinks when you know you're doing the right things but not getting the expected results. I will be praying for you.

Sending best wishes your way, Terry -- let us know how you're doing, what the results are -- hoping just a small unfill is in your future or that there is some medication issue.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
