I'm a newbie here anyone from Central Florida I'm using Dr. Ramos in Ocala Fl.

Greetings everyone my name is Tina I'm from Orlando,Fl. I am using Dr. Ramos in Ocala,Fl. Has anyone used him before? I'm having a RNY I don't know my surgery date yet but I do know that I will have the huge vertical incision???? I'm not looking forward to that & I have Amerigroup Medicaid Florida. Has anyone ever used or have experience with this insurance before? If so or if you could give me info on the RNY I would appreciate your feedback please I'm excited to start my journey I don't have a surgery date yet I weigh 334lbs & I'm 5'3 Thank You Oh btw I have an Appt. for my cardiology & pulmonary clearance & then I'm having a EGD on Oct.9th 2014 then my nutritionist class & pre-op registration

Oh my...have you thought possibly about Dr Joel Sebastien in Daytona Beach? I am almost 3 weeks out from a Roux-En-Y and I only have 5 (less than 1 inch) incisions from laproscopic surgery...and he is absolutely awesome! I am not sure about the insurance though...but I would definitely reseach more and find someone to do it laproscopically! (My weight at surgery was 310...now I am almost 40lbs down after only 3 weeks...my MD and NUT say this is mainly due to being able to get up and walk so quickly)
