Sorry, I have no answers or information for you. I'm looking for info myself Will you keep us posted on information you find or what your doctors tell you? My dad is interested in WLS and he is same age/weight as you. He's had a very hard time getting information from his VA doctor though so he hasn't really pursued it much.

Hi, I've done some Google search for information on VA wls. They do them. Have to ask your primary Dr. Go through the "move" program. In Seattle it seems that they do the surgery at University Washington. Other areas at VA hospital. I think one has to push a bit and show they are willing to make the changes necessary to make the changes. My appointment is end of month. I'll know more then. Primal
