Okay well I'm 22 years old I had my first baby last year July 13 and Im scheduled for my gastric sleeve September 10 2014 and was just wondering for ppl who had babies after surgery where they born with any disability or problems I do plan on having another baby just scared if this surgery will effect the health of the baby ??

I have not heard about any correlation between weight loss surgery and birth defects, but to put your mind at rest, you should talk to your surgeon as well as your PCP.

I was sleeved on Oct. 31 2013 and immediately got pregnant. I just had my son July 25th 2014. He was 6.9oz a small baby but his healthy and doing great. He will be 5 weeks tomorrow.

I had my surgery a year ago this past march. I got pregnant right away, 5 months post op. He's perfect and healthy ( 2 months old now) my concern is getting back on track, I lost all the baby weight but am now stuck. Any suggestions?
