Any September 15 Sleevers out there?

Hi! I'm so excited! I finally got my surgery date and it's set for September 15th. I start the pre-op liquid diet on the 2nd. Parts of me are scared and other parts of me are excited. Anyone else out there getting sleeved on that day or around it? BTW, I'm in Illinois and using Silver Cross Hospital. Thanks. And GOOD LUCK to everyone!

Thanks Kelew! Good luck on getting your date soon and let us know when you do!

I'm also scheduled for Monday September 15, 2014! .. like you, I am both excited and scared at the same time! I'm in the Rochester NY area.. I will be having my surgery at Highland Hospital by Dr. Lael Forbes. I have to still go for me pre-surgery screening.. (not sure what happens at that) .. but I call to make the appointment tomorrow! Good luck to you!

How is everyone doing today? I am still very nauseous and tired.

Hi, I'm still tired Little pain not enough to take pain medicine.

Monday was rough because of the pain and I had a hernia repair. 2nd and 3rd day a lot better. Still on pain meds.

I am still very nauseous. Haven't gotten enough fluids in yet. I try to push it but then my poor tummy hurts. Hopefully it will work itself out.

I was sleeved on Monday Sept. 15 and came home yesterday Wednesday Sept 17.. I am doing really well and I'm walking to get rid of gas pains.. the gas pains are horrible and wake me up at night.. its like someone set a 50lb weight right in the middle of my breastbone.. I have not gotten all of my fluids in yet but my guess is that will come in time.. I only take pain med when I need them an am taking all of the required vitamins etc. I'm still a bit sore but it's nothing I can't handle. I know everyone's experiences are different.. and everyone's pain tolerance levels are different too.. just wondering about the gas pains.. how are you all handling them?

I was released on Tuesday the 16th. I only had a few bouts of gas pain after I came home. Usually when I laid down in bed or when I sat up getting out of bed. I haven't had any gas pain today at all.
