How many went from lap band to bypass?

So happy to have the band removed however find the weight is not coming off so fast. I had surgery June 10th 2014 and I'm down 30lbs. I feel like I can eat anything without getting sick. Just curious if others going from band to bypass experience the same.

Thanks

Jen

I just had surgery Aug. 7th. I had the lap band removed a year ago. I am down 21 lbs but different from lap band. With the lap band I was hungry all the time. I dont find I am hungry now and have to remind myself to eat. Im still on pureed stage however I have only had issues with milk. I feel full when I eat - not like lapband and then too full and puke.

I hear weight comes off slower with the revision. Hang in there. Any weight loss is better than NONE.

I was revised on May 21, 2014. I was a low bmi since the band had worked for me until it eroded. I've lost 43. It is way slower than when I had the band but I also had 120 pounds to lose then but from what I hear all revisions usually lose slower, I wish I had done bypass first sooooo much easier than the band! Congrats on your revision!

Oh and I didn't have any issues with feeling sick until 2 weeks ago.. I can't handle carbs or fats. I haven't even tried sugar.. Don't be surprised if all of a sudden you can't tolerate foods you do now..
