The "big day" is closing in rapidly!! I will be getting my sleeve done on August 19th. It has been years in the making and am looking forward to a healthier me!!! But as it's getting closer and closer I'm getting nervous, excited, anxious, scared, all at once!!!

Welcome, welcome! I'm excited for you. My sleeve was also a "years in the making" kind of thing and it's been great so far. I hope you have a great surgery with no complications.

me too,i first saw a surgeon in 2012, then flaked then went back and forth for another year before deciding. been there. it's really exciting. for ME, pre op was exciting, i talked a lot about it, and the post op it wasn't such a huge deal anymore. in fact, at 7 wks post op, nobody around me barely talks about it anymore except my hubs and kids! i am steadily losing though and feel great. happy for you!
