One year out! Lots of success, but I NEED support!

Recommended Posts

Hey guys. I'm one year out and 110 pounds down. I'm doing really well, but I've been stalled for about a six of these months. I lost motivation and spent the past months floating between 215 and 206. Now I'm down to 203 after a month of pushing from 215 but I can't do this alone.

I decided to start a YouTube channel and make weekly videos for weightloss. I'd love if you guys would get involved and just tell me how you're doing and stuff on my videos so I can be motivated and know I have people out there with me who know what I went through and what I'm going through.

Here's my first video. There's going to definitely be more to come. I need to hit 160 and I know I can't do it without your support. So please subscribe and chat with me!

Oh, and in December I'm giving money away. :)

Love it, love it!

There are some great folks on youtube v-blogging about their WLS.

Glad to see you doing this. This will likely be very motivating for you -- and a great new way to be accountable to yourself.

Very, very best to you.

Thanks to both of you! I'd love to get some names of some WLS vloggers. :) I'd love some people to watch.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
