Hey guys, 38 yo, just out of the hospital yesterday (7/25/14)

So... I had my RNY on 7-22, I left the hospital yesterday 7-25. Everything seems to be going okay. not much pain, slept like a rock.

Not hungry... at all...

I have been able to keep up woth the H2O intake and Protein drinks.

About the only craving I have is for coffee.... i'd kill for a cup of coffee... and scrambled eggs with cheese

Congrats! I have thought of coffee a few times but am not getting enough Water in to be able to deal with caffeine right now. I suppose I could do a half a cup of decaf.

I changed up how I drank it during my 2 week liquid diet and it sucked. Fat free creamer? Yuck.

Glad you are doing well after your surgery!!

Caffeine acts like a diaretic in your system and it's to early for decaf coffee unless your surgeon says it's okay to have a little.

When it comes to eggs you will be able to have them as soon as you are on soft food and I think cheese also but don't quote me about that.

Glad to hear you're doing okay that great.

Take care and keep coming back.

Hello congrats on your surgery... how are you doing?

I'm doing well. Losing weight. Findnign new things to eat. The usual. Beans don't seem to work for me... too much gas. But everything seems to be moving along. Thanks for the support.
