Post Op Two Days- Terrible Taste in Mouth

I am two days post-op and have been on the liquid diet, which includes Iso-Pure liquid Protein, I have been cutting it with water and non caloric drinks, but I still have this awful taste in my mouth. Do you think this is a result of the Iso Pure or could it be something from the surgery?

The Isopure was my least favorite drink -- I would actually brush my teeth and clean around my lips because it left such an aftertaste. Also, a LOT of medications have dry mouth as a symptom... if you're on pain drugs and stuff that may be contributing to the weird taste.

It gets better! :)

It is not only the after taste of Iso-pure liquid Protein but also the heavy dosage of medication that is being given to you which is leading to that bad taste in the mouth. .Iso-pure does leave a very bad after taste but you can get rid of it by cleaning your mouth a few more times than you regularly do.This way you will keep your mouth from getting dry and also keep it clean from the after taste of the protein.
