Recommended Posts

I had the gastric back in 06'. I lost 255lbs . I had one child pre- op who is now 14. 14 years later , I am now preggo again . I'm 23 weeks , and would really like to converse with anyone whose had children after the surgery . Thanks :)

Ps. Is there already a group here that exists ?

I need help I had gastric bypass a year ago and I found I am pregnant today n I went to the hospital to make sure if I am really pregnant or no but they told me yes your pregnant but we can't see the baby at all, I need to know isn't too early to get pregnant after just one year or by not seeing the baby means I can have miscarriage? I am so worried thanks you all

No that does not mean you will have a miscarriage just that it is probably too soon to see the baby on ultrasound...especially just a regular u/s on the belly. When was the first day of your last period? That will help you figure out how many weeks pregnant you are and then you can call to make an appointment with an OB/GYN. There is no need to go to the hospital unless you are having a problem.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
