OK Girls.. what the heck is the story

Recommended Posts

I'm wearing my older bras that I kept when I lost weight before and they are fitting nicely. I think most people don't realize they have dropped a bra cup size because they don't get properly fitted. Now since our ta-ta's are deflating, it is good to get fitted to keep them up as high as we can get them :) Jiggle, Jiggle ladies :)

My work partner was complaining the other day about how teeny and flabby her boobs had gotten. She was never more than a plump B cup anyways. She pulled up her bra to show me and yes, they are little nubbins that really require no bra? She showed me how they sagged when she bent over. I was like, REALLY?!! I will show you something to cheer you up". So I whipped mine out, bent over and let them dangle. (Was DD now B cups) She was like, "WOW!" And she felt better immediately.

Glad the girls can still bring joy to someone's life. (And there's no such thing as TMI in a small town :) )

LMAO! :-)

One friend of mine, who is 3 years post op, said the girls were finally beginning to look normal! She's never breast-fed so she hasn't experienced the deflation.

Yours might not get smaller...some would be very envious of you.

When you reach your goal weight, and have been there for a year or two, that's when you should consult a plastic surgeon and talk about breast reduction. Me? I'm definitely looking into having the girls put back where they should be and maybe even implants! But that's YEAR'S down the road!!

I started at 25, a 3x on top, size 22 jeans and a 44DD. I've now lost 100 lbs and in an 8 jean. Still an xl and a 40D. Didn't lose ,uch on top, compared with the bottom.

My top half looks photoshopped onto my lower body. I look like a marshmallow held up with 2 toothpicks. If I lose anymore on my legs/butt, not sure ill be able to hold the top half up

Unsure about what to do about it, besides cosmetic surgery. And seeing as I never play the lottery, that's not gunna happen anytime soon...

I was a 44DD, although my Dr thinks I was larger. I had breast reduction, prior to even thinking about having surgery. For the record, they took off about 3 1/2 pounds on 1 side & around 2 1/2-3 on the other. I averaged a 38C before surgery. Not bad, I thought!

Then, I had WLS surgery, and now (110 pounds lighter), I'm at a measly 34B. I call them boy boobs now. I swear when I bend over, I have these little saggy boobies. I went from VERY well endowed to VERY NOT endowed, LOL.

My boobs are ugly now or at least I think so. My hubby doesn't seem to care. They were the first things to go when I started to lose weight. I was 46c now I am 42B or 44B depending on the brand of bra. This really make me mad since I have 10 perfectly fine bras that are 46c that I can not wear because the cup size is way to big and I got them at Lane Bryant so you know they were an investment. Planning on getting a breast lift with augmentation after my weight loss stabilizes. Still debating on the Tummy Tuck, just don't want both surgeries at once, but I know it will probably be cheaper to do it that way. Just thinking of the pain aspect.

Thanks for the chuckles ladies and Kindle, you almost made me spew Water all over my computer. That was hilariious....just whip em out!.....too funny. I have to say that compared to the rest of my body my breasts were not as large as you would expect but like so many others they did deflate. when I bend over without a bra on they look like a tennis ball inside a sock hanging there! yikes! Even so....no regrets! I don't care if I have to roll them up or tuck them into my trousers....onward....lol

I'm officially in my goal range and "the girls" haven't really officially budged size wise, (which I am grateful for). I've lost about 90 pounds and have gone down 8 inches around my ribcage but cupsize is the same. Keep in mind I switched from plus size bras to Vickie's and you typically go UP a size in Vickies, so I guess it all evened out in the end.

@@marfar7 lol! I used to describe myself as a potato with toothpick legs! I've evened out fairly well but I'm still all tummy.

Ok so something I've noticed over the past few days. My boobs look freaking huge now. They haven't gotten much smaller and I guess in comparison to the rest of my body. It's kind of freaked me out a few times. I'm not complaining though.

I am new here today... and only two weeks out from my sleeve surgery on the 23rd. I am amazed I have kept my calories down to 467 today so far... that leaves me almost 750 left for dinner and maybe a snack. This is going to be tough for two weeks... but I have to believe I can do it!

Hey everyone. I'm new here so I thought I should introduce myself. I am 53y/o and am scheduled for Gastric Bypass on June 25th, 2025. I'm located in San Antonio, Texas. I will be having my surgery in Tiajuana Mexico. I've wanted this for years, but I always had insurance where bariatric procedures were excluded. Finally I am able to afford to pay out of pocket.  I can't wait to get started, and I hope I'm prepared for the initial period of "hell". I know what I have signed up for, but I'm sure the good to come will out way the temporary period of discomfort and feelings of regret. I'd love to find people to talk to who have been through the same procedure or experience before. So I look forward to meeting you all. Hope you have a great week!

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

I hope your surgery on Wednesday goes well. You will be able to do all sorts of new things as you find your new normal after surgery. I don't know this from experience yet, but I am seeing a lot of positive things from people who have had it done. Best of luck!

Life as a big person had limited my life to what I knew I could manage to do each day. That was eat. I hadn't anything else to look forward to. So my eating choices were the best I could dream up. I planned the cooking in managable lots in my head and filled my day with and around it.

Now I have a whole new big, bigger, biggest, best days ever. I am out there with those skinny people doing stuff i could never have dreamt of. Food is now an after thought. It doesn't consume my day. I still enjoy the good home cooked food but I eat smaller portions. I leave food on my plate when I am full. I can no longer hear my mother's voice saying eat it all up, ther are starving children in Africa who would want that!

I still cook for family feasts, I love cooking. I still do holidays but I have changed from the All inclusive drinking and eating everything everyday kind to Self catering accommodation. This gives me the choice of cooking or eating out as I choose. I rarely drink anymore as I usually travel alone now and I feel I need to keep aware of my surroundings.

I don't know at what point my life expanded, was it when I lost 100 pounds? Was it when I left my walking stick at home ? Was it when I said yes to an outing instead of finding an excuse to stay home ? i look back at my last five years and wonder how loosing weight has made such a difference. Be ready to amaze yourself.

BTW, the liquid diet sucks, one more day and you are over the worst. You can do it.
