Seconds of stomach pains...

Ok, measured 2oz of mash cauliflower and could only eat about 1oz because of pains. I'm not sure if it was heartburn or stomach pains. Whichever it was, it was like in my chest, maybe stomach and back....HARD TO DESCRIBE, but it only lasted a second. My guess is it BC my food hasn't had solids in a while or my new tummy not ready, or doesn't like it. Has anyone experienced this?

Sounds like the gas pains I get when trying to drink. Seems any movement from my new stomach makes the gas move around and whamo. Walk a such as u can to move it around and try gas x. It helps me but I'm only two days into this new chapter. Best of luck it gets better each day

I currently have a band - gettin a revision to the sleeve on Aug. 5.

WIth me, those pains occur when something is getting stuck or a little too big of a bite - it was from my esophagus having spasms because of the stress of getting something down. WIth the band, it is/was a common pain. I'm not so sure if it is normal with the sleeve. I hope not, because one of the reasons I am getting a revision to the sleeve is because I don't want to be in pain every time I eat!!

I hope it goes away soon. Try to eat slower - even smaller bites in the beginning.

I got this when I started purée foods and they weren't "wet" enough and also when I ate too fast.

Make sure they are really soft and moist and slow down that eating.
