Okay, I am ready to start posting here. I feel as if I was out there in between ville...not close to 300 anymore, and not close to 200, but here I am 228 and I am sooooo ready to have a home. I do have a great home over on the exercise bicycling thread, but I have sooo wanted to post here too. I am looking at getting to 200 by Christmas. That is my goal and if I get there sooner, then great. If I don't get there by Christmas, I guess I will have to change up some things. My name is Deanna and I ride my road bike A LOT!!! I also am doing the couch to 5 K program and am starting week 4 this week. I roller blade as well. I have a lot of muscle and am thinking that maybe my tummy will be fine after all of this weight is off. I have never had a flat tummy due to surgery when I was about three. I have a scar right across my tummy about where the plastic surgery pictures of tummy tucks I have seen are. That is where my pouch starts and it has always been there, as long as I can remember. I hope to get to know some of you as we get down to the greatest of all places that we as "fatties" can get. ONDERLAND!!!!

The original goal was onederland by Thanksgiving, but now I think it may be in a couple of weeks! OMG...I think my husband will have to call 911 the morning I see 199

I've been 204 for the last 8 weeks. Okay, that's not true. I've been 204, then 205, then 206, then 204 again - you get the picture. FIVE STINKIN' POUNDS! I get so frustrated because the ones are right there in front of me but I can't get it. I'm taking the Halloween challenge - I'm breaking this stupid plateau if it kills me!

I hear ya, Cyndilou! That's EXACTLY what I do. I joined Curves last month and I weighed Monday on their scale and it balanced on 200 so I was thrilled but it just wouldn't let me go to 199. Of course, that was with my gym shoes on so MAYBE I'm in ONE-derful ONE-derland but I'll make sure I'm there before I really Celebrate. It's exciting!

After I hit 199 a couple of weeks ago....I thought I would be back to visit two-terville. That kind of stuff always happen to me. So far I am 193 and moving down a little every couple days. I cant believe this is for real....that the weight is coming off. I am soooooo happy!!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
