I got off very lucky I'm just a revision and lost about half my weight.

I just have to go liquid day before.

I had to with my first surgery, it was excruciating first couple days then now was good.

I usually get anastesia issues so that is my biggest fear.

Taken Chances, don't be ashamed. You're human a we all make mistakes. I fell off the wagon about 3-4 times, but got back on track (as much as I could) each time. Good luck. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Hi everyone how are the ones who was sleeve yesterday and past week. Let me start of sleeve Monday the 11th. After surgery in pain but I was able to handle it plus the nurses were great. Was discharged home on Tuesday. Well trying to sleep I couldn't do well bc I was so sore and couldn't get comfortable. This morning still sore I was told that the doctor repair a hiatal hernia. No gas pain I am glad of it I have been walking lots

Hopefully it will be better today. Want to send out prayers to one beening sleeve today and next weeks to come. Remember walk walk and walk. I am glad I went through it even though I am sore and can't, get comfortable.

I was sleeved yesterday and was so sleepy all day. Woke up more in the afternoon and walked a couple times. Still having some pain in the upper part of my abdomen, but nothing I can't tolerate. Need to get moving more today and hopefully all that gas they pumped in can work its way out. Wishing all those sleeved a speedy recovery and everyone yet to be sleeved a safe surgery!

I was also sleeved yesterday and it actually went better than expected. I'm having hardly any gas pain, but tons of pain on the incision site. Luckily the pain meds have been pretty helpful!

Wishing everyone who has been and who is getting sleeved this week!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
