I cannot seem to get the "search" feature to work for some reason, so I'm just going to have to throw this out there and hope someone has some insight. Wondering about blood in stools. It's not a whole lot, but definitely streaks. I had some beets a few nights ago, and at first thought that was the culprit,but now I don't think so. I'm almost 3 months post op.

If you are really worried call your surgical team and let them know what is going on, they should help ease your mind. Do you have hemorrhoids? As the bright red blood could be from that.

If it's a few streaks once in awhile then it's probably just from straining (if that's what you're doing) to get it out. If it's more than a streak here or there or you're not straining at all (most of us do after surgery) then I'd call the doc.
