I'm in week 2 and cleared for full liquids which includes smooth yogurts. My NUT told me to try mixing sugar free Jello into plain fat-free greek yogurt. DEFINITELY helps the flavor of the plain yogurt. There are some yogurts that are blended with fruit -- where there are no chunks or anything of the fruit but I haven't been able to find them.

Yogurts with chunky fruits are off the list for this week -- not until next week pureed or the week after soft.

I am allowed but honestly my taste buds have changed so I can only eat the plain greek yogurt

Smooth yogurts just after surgery. Greek if you can find and eat it. Blend it if you need to, but no fruit lumps to get caught in staple line just after surgery. I would get the cherry type and spit our the cherry chunks after sucking out the flavor. (TMI?) I would measure out my 2 oz serving in the 1st couple of weeks, but bottom line, a one serving container could be 2 meals. I love my Greek yogurt, now.

Be careful with the no fat 'fruit' ones because they typically have a ton of sugar in them. I just flavour them myself. At your stage you can sprinkle some Crystal Light crystals (if you are okay with aspartame) in any flavour. Once you've moved up the food chain :) you can add your own fresh fruit, frozen fruits and for sweetener I use Steevia as Splenda and Aspartame etc are garbage.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
