Hematoma at port site?

I just got a fill today and he told me he hit a small vein and that I would bruise. Now it's a hard ball near port site. My hubby is an MD and said don't worry it's a hematoma but I want to hear your experiences. Thanks!

I agree with your husband. put some ice on it if it is painful.

I had a huge hematoma on the right hip after the replacement surgery. It was like there was a softball under my skin so I'm not surprised you can feel something as well.
