2.5 months post sleeve - bored w/ foods

Recommended Posts

I can't believe I'm almost 3 months post op. I've lost a total of 75 pounds and need to keep going. However, went on vaca and blew my normal routine and need to get back to where I wouldn't let sugar of any kind touch my lips. !! I'm think back to liquid diet for a couple weeks.

I cook and then I'm bored with what I made so I don't eat.

I drink my shakes no problem in the AM.

I STOPPED tracking foods bc I never finish anything but I'm def grazing again.

Help!

I've never been the best eater. And I get home so late some times that cooking is just not an option I buy frozen meals like lean cuisine or Atkins and stock them in the freezer. Even if I don't eat the entire tray of beef merlot, at least I know that it is a finite quantity that doesn't allow me to graze. If you only eat half a tray, just put .5 in in myfitnesspal (or wherever you track).

I haven't had the surgery yet, my date isn't until next month but i have already started to try to make some changes. Its really easy to roll back to your normal routine, i know i have dont it at least a million times. But I would have to say the most important thing you can do now, is track your intake, dont stop tracking. For me, tracking keeps me grounded.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
