I have read on a couple of the post about a bullet machine that purees food?!? Can anyone tell me what it is and where I can get one. I want to be ready.

Thanks :)

I got mine at Wal-mart for about $60. You can also order online and get 2 for $99 I think. I would not be able to function without mine. I used it to make my own cream Soups during the pre-op liquids and post-op liquids phases. It is so wonderful for the Protein Shakes. I put a little ice in with mine and it makes it so much better. They are well worth the money. I actually bought a second one for when I wear the first one out. Much easier than a blender because you can drink right out of the container you mix it in. Saves a lot of dish washing!

I got one too. I use it for my morning Protein Shakes, to mix pancake mix for my kids, to ground coffee, etc. I love it! I am going to take my coffee grinder off the counter top. I hate cleaning that thing up after I use it, and it takes up space I could use. I think I am most excited about the coffee grinding than anything.

Here's a link to a thread started two days ago about this as well.

http://www.lapbandtalk.com/bullet-t33450.html

You can get them at Kohl's, Bed Bath and Beyond, Target, etc...

They average around $60 and most folks that have them love them, though there are a few folks that used it a couple of times and it collects dust.

They only have 225watts of power but come with a few cups for blending and storage and are small.

I would suggest if you already have a nice blender that has the screw-off bottom blade assembly you not spend more money. A regular mouth mason jar, which you can buy in cases of 12 for a few dollars in sizes ranging from 1 cup (1/2 pint) up to a quart will fit right on there. And you have many jars to store things in.

Walmart.com carries a personal blender by the brand name of Back To Basics that is about $18 and has 350 Watts. Big difference between 350 and 225. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3609512

Here's a similar product to the Magic Bullet for a bit less: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4756038

Here's the Magic Bullet:

If you do not shop at Walmart, you can find these items many other places. Perhaps do a Yahoo Shopping search for either Magic Bullet, Koolatron or Back To Basics.

I just bought a new Oster 12 speed, 450 watt blender that came with a food processor attachment, and a free personal blender jar. I needed a new blender anyway.

I guess I'm a whore for infomercials! I love my Magic Bullet. I used it for liquid and mushie stage and now I use it daily for my protien shakes. Mine came with 4 migs and that's what I mix my shakes in. I think I can recite the entire infomercial including the british guy's accent!

I ordered mine off the informical also where they claim that you buy one get one free....well you dont....you pay for both. I actually need two though because I travel quite a bit for work and last week while I was away from home for 4 days I just packed it and took it with me. I packed my Protein Powder and I had a small cooler that I took with some fruit and then stopped at a gas station and picked up skim milk or orange juice, depending on what I was making and just fixed it right there in the room. Hotels always have ice so it was easy. I love the magic bullet and it is the perfect size for me to travel with.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
