7 month Vsg Before/After pic

Recommended Posts

It's been 7 months since I had my Vsg. Love I my sleeve!

You are looking great :-)

Thanks so much - needed this today! We have similar HW so it's a good idea what I could possibly achieve in 7 months. I'm going to participate in the 4th of July challenge as a first goal.

Keep up the great work doll!

Thank you! I stalled a little bit about a month out (your body is adjusting) and again around month 6 for maybe a week. I honestly didn't do much to get it moving again because I knew to expect it and that the scale would start moving again. I know there is going to come a point where I will need to up the activity to get past a future stall, but I'm prepared! Good luck and be patient :)

Finally broke my stall!! It was weird though because my clothes were getting loose even though My pounds weren't going down! My size 20 jeans I bought are getting loose!! Woot! Clearance jeans! lol I would just wear my stretchy shorts but I ride the motorcycle with the hubby so I need at least one pair of jeans! Going to wait until I fit into 16 to get another pair and hopefully these 20's will last till then! haha! Thanks for helping me through that!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
