I know we have stalls but I think I'm broken...or just impatient...IDK!

Ok, I'm not being irrational...I'm worried. I was one of the dummies for lack of a better term that tried to eat a chicken nugget when I had no other food to eat and that was at 2 weeks out. I was also the one that would try to force Protein so that I don't get sick from the lack of and so that I wouldn't loose my hair so easily.

I am also the one that got a hernia repair and sleeve at the same time, then had a horrible coughing spell 2 nights in a row that put me in major pain. I'm the one that thought I could just get my fill of protein with food and blah to the shakes....smh, boy was I wrong!!!

I was also the one that had a JP Drain for 2 weeks when it should have been removed in 1 week. The drainage colors changed from the normal blood and straw yellow color to a green then brown color in the 2nd week.

Basically, I did many things wrong, I don't need you to tell me that. I've told my doctor almost everything but I want to call and ask for him to look at the sleeve and make sure I haven't blocked it or ruptured it because I feel heavy all over again. Like I really messed something up...

Also, when I told him what i was drinking since the Water wasn't easy to go in....he said STOP THAT, those drinks have too much sugar. I wonder if it's sticking to me already. I've stopped as instructed.

Anyone know how sensitive the sleeve is? It's even sensitive to the touch. Is it a normal stall and I'm just being overly worried?

I'm 1 month out, please help if you can either relate or if you're more than 2 months out.

Thanks

A month out? Give it time. What have you lost from surgery to now?

When I was two weeks out I hit a three week stall!

It will happen

I am 4 weeks post op tomorrow and although I have done everything right, I just ended a ten day stall.

I didn't let it bother me.

I'm hoping it is just a stall, I can handle that...I was really messing up but I'm being good now. I Learned my lesson quick, this is not a game!! I learn more every day, Im learning to respect the sleeve! Lol

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
