distinguishing between head hunger/real hunger?

Hi guys,

I was sleeved on 5/7/14 and now that I'm home from the hospital I'm having a hard time distinguishing between head hunger and real hunger. Also, it's hard for me to tell when I'm actually full because the "full" or satisfied feeling doesn't feel the same as before. Any tips or advice?

What difference does it make. Treat it all as head hunger and ignore it or do something to distract you from the idea of food. And as far as feeling full.......measure you meals and eat enough to meet your caloric intake, protein and nutrients.....and that's it.

Your past was not a good judge of fullness so don't bother trying to establish one this early on. You need to concentrate on learning new eating habits, so forget all the old ones. Measure. measure. measure. And fight all the urges. You're getting enough in, so you don't need to respond to any urges, no matter what they are. Drink more fluids if you need something. Good luck. ;)
