I'm still using Protein shakes for most of my protein a an trying some sold foods that doesn't see to be a problem. Mornings seem to be the worst . Any help appreciated, thanks

At nine weeks, I believe you can transition to solid food. So at that time you can also transition from Protein shakes to Protein Bars. I generally use Protein Bars when I am on the go (because it is a little hard to carry around my blender with me). I like QuestBar (Coconut Cashew). Make sure the Protein bars have low sugar.

Concerning your Protein Shakes, if you haven't already begun this, it might be worth a try. I generally blend in a half a banana with my protein shakes. It makes it go down smoother.

Hello ~ I understand completely! At around five weeks, and lasting almost a week, I suddenly became nauseated every time I put anything in my mouth. Everything I ate or drank made me ill. I asked around and discovered that I probably wasn't getting enough Water, so upped my H2O intake. After a couple of days, I started feeling better whenever I ate something. Maybe you could be having the same issue?

Whatever the cause, I sure hope you can move past this phase quickly. Good luck!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
