The Bariatric Center sent in my paperwork yesterday, and they called this morning, Approved! I had to do the 6 month weight loss, so this has been a long time coming, but I am in shock! It is very exciting, but also scary. Has anyone else felt anxiety or fear when you finally know it is going to happen??

After doing the "happy dance", my mind started on all the "what ifs". I believe its normal and you are in good company.

Congrats!!! I got my approval on Tuesday. It was such a weight off my shoulders and I didn't have to do the 6 month wait. I would of never made it through the 6 months, I don't have very much patience. I admire everyone who has to do the waiting period. I got my date the day I got approved. My big day is June 25th.

They said I will get a surgery date after my Pre-op testing which is May 16th.
