June 2007 Bandsters

Recommended Posts

Suzzie - it is called being TIGHT and drinking TOO fast! I am there with you. It is my TOM and I am STARVING! Of course I have tightened up and gurgle with just about everything!

Ingyrob - I will keep my fingers crossed for you! we can do it!

I hadn't really thought about my bandiversary. Keeping our fingers crossed that we will be moving the day after, so we will be packing! Hubby is the 24th of May, he probably doesn't even remember.

hope everyone has a great week.

Oh... well... just to TRY to get us to page 300 I'll tell you all something.

I went shopping for new uniforms yesterday, and fit into a size XL scrub pants!! XL! OK. so they are tight, but I can get them all the way on and sit without the butt ripping out. They fit me like my 3X fit this time last year. Lol. Yep, I was wearing a 4X scrub pant last year (cause like I as saying, the 3X were tight.)

Last year I was wearing a 4X scrub top. Most of them were getting rather tight... Now I'm comfortablly in a 3X top. I have 1 2X top I can wear, but otherwise I have to stick with the 3X. I'm just top heavy. I have no hips to speak of, so I've always been a size smaller on the bottom.

Oh... and some of my size 24 jeans are a bit baggy... but I can't get into 22s yet. Clothes are fun and frustrating... but I'm still THRILLED that I'm just not in a size 32 pants anymore! Weeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Did that get us to page 300 yet?

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
