I'm sorry too big baby. My grandmother is 85 (she's sitting opposite me right now) and it would be really terrible to lose her. I hope your family help each other to get through this.

Big Baby ~ you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers too. God Bless!

As for weather, It was a chilly 29 degrees in Alpena, Michigan today. Yesterday it freakin snowed. Last week it was in the high 50's and I thought we were getting closer to nice weather. That's wishful thinking!

I'm so freakin sore today I can barely walk. I swam yesterday and then took in an "Extreme Intervals" cardio class at a local health club. My husband has been giggling at me all day today. I can barely sit on the toilet without experiencing extreme discomfort. I won't even discuss what walking down stairs is like. Here I thought that swimming 3-4 times a week (1 1/2 mile each day) was getting me in great shape. I'll really fearful of the program Steph is going to set up. If I feel like this after a 1 hour cardio class I'll probably die doing Steph's program.

Hey Suzzzie. ~ what do you think of that book ~ "Lift like a man, look like a goddess"? I special ordered it and it came in yesterday. I'm about 1/2 way through. I find it extremely interesting. Just curious what you were thinking.

YEAH SUZZZIE!!! You are doing GREAT!

Good Job Karla!

Java - I am so glad to see you posting again! I don't have any advice for the website. I have this site in my Internet favorites, so I come right here and the look around from there.

JoJo - I am sorry you are still having problems. I feel bad because I have no good explanation for my husband's issues either. He is dealing with it and it doesn't interfere with anything, but it sure makes eating painful sometimes.

Do you all watch the biggest loser? I was so glad that Ali won, however I was routing for Kelly too. She looked Fantastic last night. do you think her x was really sick? Probably could not face her hot self! Most of the others were fantastic too.

I watched BL. I was glad a woman won... but would have preferred Kelly won. Ali kinda got on my nerves... but she does look GREAT and deserved to win. As for Kellys ex husband, I don't think he was sick. I think he probably didn' t lose any weight and didn't want to have to face everyone and the scales. I kinda feel bad for him.

Awwe crap

I TVO'd it and hadn't watched it yet. I will be watching it tonight to see their transformations!! I am so happy a woman won!!!!! I preferred Ali over Kelly's whining so that makes me happy!

I think the slug-ex had too many issues and probably didn't lose any more weight. He needs counseling as much as the diet/exercise help.

Happy Wednesday Y'all!!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
