tricare west to south

I'm just now starting the process in Colorado Springs. I got my referral today from my PCM. We are most likely moving in the next 2-3 months to Fort Rucker, AL. I'm curious if anyone else has moved during the process and if you can use your records from one location and apply them to the next to shorten the wait time up until surgery. I'm also wondering if anyone knows off hand if there is an MTF in Southern AL that performs the gastric sleeve and if not if they will allow someone to travel up to Fort Benning, GA to have the procedure done there. It seems the VSG is only covered by Tricare if done at an MTF. Thanks in advance!
