self payer looking for insurance for possible complications

I am going to be a self paying sleeve patient. I am interested in finding an insurance policy to help cover any additional expenses that may incur if complications happened. I have heard of the Blis insurance but my surgeon is not part of their network and they are not accepting new providers until next calendar year. does anyone know of another insurance provider that covers this type of short term that policy? Thank you in advance -Paige

Other than BLIS, I'm not aware of any other insurance company that offers the coverage you're looking for. Maybe it might be a better idea to switch to a surgeon that's already part of the BLIS network.
