What was I thinking?

Recommended Posts

I honest to God have no idea what I was thinking when I took a sip of wine yesterday, but let me tell you my stomach did NOT like it one bit. I had less than 2 ounces but it BURNED my stomach so bad. Just to clarify, wine is on the "no no" list, right? I'm not even a wine drinker but we were in the store shopping and they were giving out free samples of wine so my husband and I went ahead and got some to try. I wasn't thinking, that was it. I wasn't thinking at all!

I feel fine now but what was up with the burning like a minute after I took down the wine? Is there carbonation in it or something? Well anyways, not doing that again!

I had a couple of sips of wine at thanksgiving and I was about 6 weeks out. It did not sit well. Now, at 6 months out, no problem. But I do limit myself to 2 glasses once a week. Too many empty calories, and I'd rather eat my calories!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
