Hah-! So glad. When you tire if taco, try ranch dip powder. I did a variety of international flavors, like masala and turmeric for Indian, etc. I know you have to go easy on the spices and not everyone can tolerate, but I had no problems and the savory options kept me sane.

The taco seasoning idea is genius! Wish I'd have known that when my family was eating tacos last night, lol! I was sleeved 3/31 and have been struggling to get more than 1 shake in. Yesterday at Walmart my 10-year-old son spotted some "vials" from New Whey that are 42 g of Protein in just 3.8 oz. Let me tell you, it tastes like ass, but it's so worth it to only have to get 3.8 oz down! I'm taking a few swallows several times a day. I figure I can do this until I get to the point where I can have a protein bar!

Lmao Lisa. Taco is definitely better than ass.

Unjury makes chicken broth flavored Protein Powder. It's reasonably tasty. Just make sure you don't heat it over 140 degrees F.

Thanks but no thanks. That doesn't sound appealing to me at all.

My pain is stomach pain. It changes all the time. I think sometimes it's just terrible hunger pain, then I manage to eat a teaspoon of purée food and then that hurts. I'm so thirsty, but if I drink more that 2 tiny sips, it hurts. Then I get indigestion. I have pain in my back/ lungs and cant get a good breath. I'm just miserable.

Did they advise to try antacids? That presents as stomach and shoulder pain, might help to get you through to your Doctors Appt...

Been there and now I'm tired of mashing up all my foods in the pureed stage. Ready to eat real solid foods!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
