re-start weight loss after pulmonary embolism and pneumonia

I had on pulmonary embolism and pneumonia 3 weeks after my conversion and it lasted 8 months.God bless, I'm lucky to be alive .I don't know how to restart my weight loss. In between before I got sick after surgery all of the three weeks I lost 30 pounds then I became sick with the blood clot it took 8months s for it to go away how do I restart help!!!#...ps I bad lung scarring, it hurts when I breath deeply
