Dawn...WOW 102 lbs lost....that is awsome girl!!!!! Seeing those numbers gives me motivation!!!! I know after a long plateau you cant seem to get back in the swing of things but I know you can.....you are doing great. Remember we didnt get banded to get half way.....we ALL to get to goal. So get motivated....drink your H20 .....eat protein.....good food choices and try to get atleast 30 minutes of excersize. I still am in AWE over your numbers. You rock girley!!!

Back from the doc. Now I'm at 7.5 cc in a 10 cc band. I'm having a bit of trouble with it tonight, but I'll be on Clear Liquids for a day or so and see how that works out. I'd hate to back it out again :)

Yeah, I did that in September. Overfilled, a full month of vomiting and then backed it off. I've been on a very very slow decline since, flat since the beginning of December. Time to push.

All's well in my world.

I had a doctor appt yesterday. I think I am going to be having bladder repair surgery next month.

Gosh, I must be getting old...I just said bladder in front of the whole world. Oh well, I may as well just accept it!

Been eating good and drinking so much more Water. Just made a date with a friend to go to the gym (which I have been a member to for two years and never darkened their door) two times next week. I am going to start using the equipment. Shoulda started long ago. But, feeling really good. Now that I think about it though, I will probably get really into lifting wghts, then have the surgery and not be allowed to for six months. Oh well, it that's the case, I will walk the treadmill with my friend!

Thanks for the motivation. Going to get some water...yuck, sick of it!

I read at least daily and I'm glad everyone is doing so well!

I went for my 4th fill yesterday. I'd felt pretty much no restriction for a while, but kept losing so I left it at that, but decided it was time to get another. I'm at about 4.4cc in a 10cc band. Today I can still gulp Water, but maybe it will tighten after a while. If not, back I go!

I also saw my band Dr. yesterday who was really happy with my progress. He even called me a poster child! It was a very positive visit and I basically floated home.

That's all I've got for now. Oh wait! I bought a jacket today in a size XL ! ! I have it on right now because I'm so happy about that. When it's zipped it's a bit snug in the tummy, but not uncomfortable and it looks fine. I'm wearing it out to a movie this evening (I'm Not There) to show it off! I'm large framed and 5' 10" so this is huge for me! Woohoo!

Manatee....how is it going today??

Yesterday was BAD. Vomiting Water during the evening, acid reflux last night, gurgling. I ended up sleeping in a chair just to calm the churning.

It's better today. Still on liquids, I did get some chili down today. I have got 64 oz of water and a Protein Shake down today. Things are still churning in the chest, but it's getting better.

If I can get through the weekend, I'm golden.

Thanks for asking

Sandra :

Thank you for the great words. It's definitely been something I've had to struggle at. I knew what I was getting into, but sometimes it's been harder than I ever thought it would be. I'm extremely happy with the weight I have lost...but on the other end I know that this last amount I want to lose, which is another 100 lbs., is going to be even harder to get off than those first 100 lbs.

I try to reinforce myself every day. Good luck with yours and to everyone.

Manatee & Sandra, the two of you are so inspiring to me! I hope to have numbers that look like yours one day.

For lunch I had a small can of tuna in Water w/ 1T of light miracle whip and 5 wheat crackers. Should I be able to eat all of that? Or do I need a fill?

3rd day post-fill, and everything's good. I'm able to eat small portions of salmon, pecans, etc. Back to the normal world. Unfortunately, solids mean that beautiful 183 number this morning will soon be headed up a bit, but so be it ;)

Twinmommy, you're doing well! Only you can decide if you need a fill. I do know that I can't come close to eating a full 6 oz can at one sitting, but I also only eat the white chunk tuna -- I can't stand that shredded stuff. I'm at 7.5 cc in a 10 cc band. Hope this helps.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
