I went to the doctor today. I lost six more pounds this month. I thought I needed a slight unfill because I can only eat about four bites of chicken and then I am done. She said no, that four botes was enough. It is so hard to get over the head part of it all. I don't know why I am starting to struggle with that now at this point. It is so hard to make excuses all the time in public about why you don't eat but just a few bites.

Weazer...

That's so great! Remember, all things work together...

I assume you approve of your future son-in-law, I'm so happy for you and your daughter, will it be soon?

Sue,

I honestly don't know him at all. Just had one talk with him. He is stepping up to the plate and I am happy about that. They both seem happy so this is a good thing! Now, how the heck do I throw a wedding for Jan 19th. This should be interesting.

Well, about my band...it was so tight for a couple of weeks that I could barely eat! It is finally starting to loosen up. I was so hungry that last night I was able to eat 2 bowls of corn flakes. I am eating tiny bites and eating really slow. I love the slow part. I am having people comment on my wght loss every day now. I think I am in the low 180's but won't wght until the first. That means I have to wght till next Sat and I don't have a scale at home. I will just wght here on Friday. I am feeling so good and looking so much better that I feel like I can stop trying to rush the wght loss now. I am going to let it fall off without stressing now.

Blessings all!

Weazer

Hi All, I'm back from a hiatus. The wedding pix's a great congratulations to all who are loosing.

What ever restriction I had is gone i'm gaining and not loosing. I go for a fill tomorrow I hope it helps. I think i'm at 1.6 cc what is enough? the eternal question? I'm really frustrated. I want to be a success but it seems I'm failing once again gosh I hate these negative thoughts. Thanks, for listing to my venting.

I'm happy at 3.25 CC's in a 4 CC band. Any less and I can eat too much.

Well this is sad but true....I think my ideal is 1 cc or maybe 1.5 cc in a 4 cc band. I had a total of 2 cc's but could not get any food or liquids down. Sounds weird huh!!!!

Sandra,

Everybody is different. Like I've said before. My daughter has the 9cc band and lost wght with one small fill.

I am one of the hard ones that needed lots of fill.

Don't worry you have still lost a good amount of weight. I bet you look fantastic. I am just enjoying being at the wght I am at.

Blessings,

I have 3.3cc in my 4cc band and it really seems to be a sweet spot for me. I can eat good healthy food, and get full with about 1 - 1.5 cups of food. It helps me keep my calories at about 1100, which seems to be my special number. If I eat less I plateau. Early in the day I have to be very careful, eat slow. I've PB'ed a few times, but it seems to be getting better.

Weazer...

The fact that he's stepping up says something about his character. Keep the wedding simple, there is something particularly romantic about a simple weeding! God's blessings on you all!!!

Sue,

I have been eating about a cup cup and a half too. But, if I am honest...I don't ever really feel hungry. I just know it's time to eat. The taste and texture of the food is good that is why I keep eating. I can't remember the last time I had a hunger pain.

What about y'all?

Blessings, Weazer

I can't say I don't get hungry, but certainly not like before. get hungry after about 4 hours, but it's not the incredible grumbling (LOUD!) that I had before my 3rd fill. It seems when I hit 3.0cc my band really started to do it's job, there was alot of "white knuckling" before that...glad that's in the past. The holidays would have been diasterous with the kind of hunger I had before, I know I would have failed...I love my band :)

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
