I think I'm going to have to go in for more fill. Admitedly it's only been a week or so since my fill, but I'm just not feeling any restriction and I haven't dropped any weight since the fill despite exercising.

I got 1.5 cc's yesterday...and it wasn't bad at all despite me being super scared! I was really surprised because my doctor told me to eat as I have been--no liquids or mushies, right back to solid food! That made me happy!

Glad to hear people are finding out that they need more fill & getting it taken care of. Do you really feel FULL? Or is it a mental feeling? Will I know when to stop eating? And how?

Julie... I wish I had an answer to your question... I very rarely feel full off a small amount of food...even after my first fill.. my doctor says at first eat 1/2 cup of food.. if you are hungry.. fix another 1/2 cup but eat slowly. Most times I can down a full cup without problem.. which scares me.. because I'm still hungry.

I weighed myself this morning.. still no movement :-(

Melissa--thanks for the response. Don't stress the scale not moving...you are still doing fantastic!

If we can all just get to the 1-2 pound loss per week, do you think that will make us happy? I wonder if I will be satisfied with that...my personality is that I wish this weight loss success to happen overnight. I know that is not reality & I am working on my psyche!

Boy, I guess I really don't want to be at work...I am sitting here reading the forum constantly! Bad girl!!

Happy Friday!

I'm right there with ya on that!! I'd LOVE for weight loss to be overnight... and I'm scared to say that I dont think I'll be happy with 1-2 lbs a week. 2-3 is more like what I'm looking for.. I know it didnt get put on overnight.. so I should be a little more patient..

Shoot for short term goals. Something you can reach in 3-5 weeks. I find it keeps you focused and reminds you that giving into temptation will be felt now, not later.

UUGGHH! I guess I am just too impatient. I have had my second fill and I am still eating what feels like a horse. I am getting my third fill next Saturday, so I am not going to call before then. I thought the "head hunger" would go away, but it has not. My dr tells me to only have 3 meals a day. That is hard when your kids are snacking all the time!

I know you all think I am just super negative all the time. That really is not my personality. I just want this band to help me not overeat.

What are you doing to keep yourself from eating and wanting food? ??

HELLLLLPPPPPPP!

i feel like ive been in a downward spiral into negativeland. I am gaining. ive gained back everything ive lost since being rebanded.

i currently weigh what i did when i went in.

I have not had a fill yet. its my own fault. I had work stuff going on and couldnt schedule the flight until now. My fill is in five days and i really cant wait. I have big hopes.

i really blew it this weekend. im wide open and i hope that i can get ahold of this and reign it back in.

im increasing my activity, and i believe its the only reason why i havent gained MORE.

When I first had my surgery, the evening times were my WORST ENEMY!!!

I decieded right than that in order for me to not want to eat all the time, I was going to need to change something. I started that being my time to exercise. So, I got mad at myself one night, and took off walking. Haven't stopped since. I usually am either walking or riding my bike now for exercise. The hunger and desire to eat at my worst time, is slowly changing......I now am occupying that time with alternatives, and it is working wonders for me. I know it is allot harder when you have small kids...if you cant leave them at home with someone, can you take them along? I know it may not be a perfect solution, but at least you would be out of the house...

Just my suggestion....

Good Luck...

hoos! i totally relate to that. i do.

i walk four miles each evening, and bike eight each morning.

i honestly believe its the only reason i havent gained more...

but its not the only thing.

i binge eat. it comes from nowhere and hits me. ive TRIED leaving the house AT those times and i go right back in and grab what ive been obsessing over and put it in my face.

friday, husband brought home a taramisu cake. im the only one in the family who loves this stuff. its sunday, and its gone and i ate it.

I am sorry!!!! Why is your husband sabatoging your diet and bringing in something to the house that only you like???? That is not helping you at all.

I am like that with chicken....OMG I had some fried chicken about 3 weeks ago, and man.....I had to make myself leave and not eat anymore. There is a grocery store that sells some that I like, and I refuse to even walk by that area....almost have to keep myself from going into that store most of the time just becauase I could buy like 5 chicken legs and eat eveyone before I even get home.

The band is a tool, but doesent work on our head......hmmm....someone should invent something to go along with this..LOL

Good luck.....dont give up...and if you need anything, email...

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
