Got a call today and my surgeon is sick and had to move my surgery date. Only had 4 days left on my pre op diet and surgery was on march 18th. Now I have to start pre op diet all over again on the 18th and surgery is on April 1st. I so wanted to cry when I got this call. Very sad right now

Hang in there! I'm so sorry, that really sucks. But, you would rather a surgeon be nice and well, then working on you while sick. It's a temporary set back. You've come so far, just take deep breaths and center your mind. It will happen, and you will do great!

It does suck. You'll get there though. Chin up.

That's a small slip in the grand scheme of things. I know that you must feel devastated and rightfully slow but that gives you two more weeks to get your body a bit healthier before surgery and get your mind in this new lifestyle. Don't use this time to pig out a couple of days as that might set you back.

Time will fly and it'll be here before you know it!
