Port wound not healing completely?

I was banded on 6th nov 2013 and it is now 9th march 2014 . Port wound

Refuses to completely heal! A little hole the size of a pinprick still there and liquid coming out of it ?

Has anyone else had this problem?

What does your surgeon say? That wound should be totally healed by now.

I saw him on about 20th January for my first fill which was delayed because of wound infection and slow healing. Wound was being monitored by nurse at GP ( n ireland) .He seemed to think it was ok then. I emphasise it is only the size of a pinprick.... But I think perhaps I should request an appointment to see him.

By the way I have only just joined this forum, this was my first post and you are my first contact, thanks for replying! I am 58 yrs old and weigh 198 lbs.

Welcome. Good luck with your wt loss. I understand that it is the size of a pin prick, but it could be larger inside.
