Did tubing every give you discomfort or infection?

I've got a sharp pain (tolerable) under my port, farther down and in - feels like a little snag - but I've been exercising pretty good lately - so maybe I irritated something. I'm hoping the pain will go away ASAP :)

Curious if anyone else has experienced this ...

The tubing between the port and the band - just to be clear and under my ribs.

Not sure how far post op you are but I had that pulling feeling for about 3 weeks after surgery. It felt like maybe the muscles were healing around my port. It has faded. I can now even sleep on my stomach again.

I'm over 4 months post-op so it's kind of a new pain albeit that it was a bit bothersome back right after surgery - it took my incision a while to heal - and my port area got a bit infected nothing horrible but had to take an antibiotic, that's what make me a little concerned than not - I SO don't want complications - I avoid those like the plague.

If it doesn't go away soon I'd call the doc to see what he/she says about it. May be normal or maybe a clue to a minor problem but best not to let it get worse. Take care.

I am soooo glad to hear that people can sleep on their stomachs again! I slept on my back in the hospital, and then last night was my first in my bed. I just wanted to lay on my stomach! It was miserable. lol
