I received surgical approval yesterday, February 27th. The surgeon said to expect a surgery date within the next one to three months. I've already purchased my 3 week supply of. Optifast shakes. I have to drink four a day and nothing else for 21 days leading up to surgery. Liver shrinking and all that jazz, lol. I bought all the vitamins for the first two months post op- either liquid or chewable. I've even bought smaller bowls and plates to use after surgery. I've read about eight books on Roux-en Y gastric bypass. I'm pretty much set, ready to go. I am wishing that it'll be one month vs the three month wait. I started my process in May 2013. So eager for the actual surgery. I'm so excited I'm having trouble sleeping. Anyone else experiencing this?
